Site Manager – Health and Safety Job in Wolverhampton

Job Description 

This role is a great opportunity to join an established Health and Safety Construction Consultancy on a 9-month FTC as a Site Manager overseeing an exciting project. Based from the West Midlands, you will be supporting the client and coordinating the Health and Safety aspects during the Construction phase of the project and after 4 months will be travelling to a couple of other projects across the UK. All applicants must hold the SMSTS and CSCS Card and will ideally have experience within a manufacturing facility during the construction and installation phases.


The Role:

  • Carry out site visits to ensure compliance and a positive Health and Safety culture
  • Provide site inductions and toolbox talks
  • Produce and review Risk Assessments and Method Statements
  • Liaise with local client representatives on all Health and Safety Matters
  • Coordinate site deliveries
  • Update and ensure compliance in line with the construction phase plan

The Candidate:

  • Must hold both the SMSTS Certificate and CSCS Card
  • Must be willing to travel to 2 or 3 other sites across the UK as required
  • NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent isn’t required but would be beneficial
  • Experience within a high-risk environment across manufacturing and/or construction
  • Excellent communication skills, a committed team player and ability to build relationships with clients
