HSE Officer Job in Nigeria 

Currently sourcing for an HSE OFFICER for our client, a fully integrated and efficient downstream player with leading positions in the Nigeria Oil Industry.

Job Summary:
The role will be responsible for coordinating all HSE activities at the lube plant, finished product warehouses, fuel and terminal depots across the country.

Job Requirements:
• Minimum of first degree in Social Sciences/Sciences/Engineering/Environmental Sciences
• Recognized professional certification e.g. NEBOSH
• Minimum of 3 – 6 years HSE experience
• Experience in downstream petroleum marketing or operations
• Knowledge of HSE practices, standards, and regulations (NEBOSH, NIOSH,CIEH, NISP etc)
• Interpersonal skills
• Analytical skills
• Project Management
• Facilitation skills
• Technical report writing
• Proficiency in MS Office applications
• Teamwork
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Energetic; confident; thorough; assertive
• Occasional local travel may be required at short notice, to incident sites, construction sites, depots, etc
• There might be exposure to hydrocarbon emissions/gases/ noise environment
