Health and Safety Manager Job in Hampshire

A highly regarded charity is seeking a Health and Safety Manager to be home based and work on a regional basis covering the South Coast. Reporting into the Head of H&S you will be required to work on a multi site basis, taking a ‘business partner’ approach – providing managers and staff with the tools and training they need to manage health and safety on a day to day basis, and providing higher level technical advice when required.
The Role:
  • Lead on the continual improvement of H&S within regional remit
  • Engage with all levels of staff to encourage a positive Health and Safety culture
  • Developing and delivering H&S training
  • Travelling to other office locations and services to support the role
The Candidate:
  • NEBOSH/ NCRQ Certificate or equivalent, Diploma level qualification highly desirable
  • Experience of operating as a H&S professional, preferably within the charity, public sector, education or similar environments
  • Coaching and influencing skills, able to take a ‘business partner’ approach
  • Full driving licence essential
