Job Description 

We are currently working with a leading Fire Safety organisation who are looking to appoint a Health and Safety Manager to join their team. Based in their head office and looking after multiple sites including testing labs and training facilities, this role will see you covering Safety in a diverse range of high-risk environments.

The Health and Safety Manager will be responsible for:

  • Conduct Health and Safety audits and inspections across the business
  • Set Health and Safety strategy for the business and ensure the company’s Health and Safety policies and procedures are up to date
  • Conduct investigations and monitor Health and Safety performance across business units including high risk areas such as laboratories

The Health and Safety Manager will have:

  • 3+ years’ experience working in the Health and Safety sector, ideally in a high risk environment
  • Hold a NEBOSH General/ NCRQ Level 6 Certificate or equivalent as a minimum
  • Hold TechIOSH status as a minimum – GradIOSH/CMIOSH highly desirable
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to excel in a fast paced environment
