Overall responsibility:

Direct and manage the overall safety culture of Sentinel Integrity Solutions, Inc. Develop, implement and facilitate safety and training strategies including programs to ensure the protection, safety and security of employees. Provide ongoing safety, training and regulatory consulting support to managers, supervisors and employees.

Assure company is compliant in third-party organizations such as ISNetworld, PEC Premier, PICS etc. This process is very involved and often complex, and includes detailed online account set-up and moderate computer capabilities.

Keep OSHA logs up to date in accordance with OSHA standards and submit annually.

Ensure compliance with all OSHA and related compliance activities, identify and manage risk, verify and monitor associated training requirements.

Knowledge of Pre-Access (DISA)/ drug testing requirements for company employees prior to start of job at client facilities. Manage corporate drug testing procedure in accordance with safety manual.

Identify best practices and lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce work process risks, raise safety awareness, and improve safe work practices.

Coordinate employee safety programs to determine their adequacy including review of short and long term strategic safety planning and development.

Oversee, manage, and conduct corporate safety training program for employees. Assist with safety training for Superintendents and Foremen. Train and mentor all staff, as needed. Keep all training records organized and accessible.

Investigate all accidents, near-miss incidents, and occupational injuries to determine causes. Implement preventive measures, and manage return-to- work activities.

Compile data and statistics on quarterly basis to report to company leadership.
Assist in development of site specific programs and plans with the Project Managers and Superintendents. Assist in the preparation Job Safety Analysis (JSA) of project specific task, when required.

Must be able to write specific site safety plans.

Perform field audits and develop corrective action reports.

Serve as the Point of Contact for all scheduled and unscheduled governmental (OSHA) inspections.

Supervisory Responsibility:

This position manages all employees of the department and is responsible for the performance management and hiring of the employees within that department.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or 10 years of safety experience.

Certified in OSHA 10 & OSHA 30
Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

Experience with ISNetworld, PEC Premier, PICS, and/or DISA
